Struct rustc_codegen_ssa::back::write::TargetMachineFactoryConfig
source · pub struct TargetMachineFactoryConfig {
pub split_dwarf_file: Option<PathBuf>,
pub output_obj_file: Option<PathBuf>,
}
Expand description
Configuration passed to the function returned by the target_machine_factory
.
Fields§
§split_dwarf_file: Option<PathBuf>
Split DWARF is enabled in LLVM by checking that TM.MCOptions.SplitDwarfFile
isn’t empty,
so the path to the dwarf object has to be provided when we create the target machine.
This can be ignored by backends which do not need it for their Split DWARF support.
output_obj_file: Option<PathBuf>
The name of the output object file. Used for setting OutputFilenames in target options so that LLVM can emit the CodeView S_OBJNAME record in pdb files

Layout§
Note: Most layout information is completely unstable and may even differ between compilations. The only exception is types with certain repr(...)
attributes. Please see the Rust Reference's “Type Layout” chapter for details on type layout guarantees.
