Struct IsProbablyCyclical

Source
struct IsProbablyCyclical<'tcx> {
    tcx: TyCtxt<'tcx>,
    item_def_id: DefId,
    seen: FxHashSet<DefId>,
}
Expand description

Detects cases where an ADT/LTA is trivially cyclical – we want to detect this so we only mention that its parameters are used cyclically if the ADT/LTA is truly cyclical.

Notably, we don’t consider substitutions here, so this may have false positives.

Layout§

Note: Most layout information is completely unstable and may even differ between compilations. The only exception is types with certain repr(...) attributes. Please see the Rust Reference's “Type Layout” chapter for details on type layout guarantees.
